Hello! This was another great week here in Geneva! I don't have a lot
of time today so here is a quick list of things I can remember :)
We had a multi zone conference in Lyon this Friday which was really
good! We talked a lot about the interregional plan here in Europe and
how we can help members accomplish the plan. We had to present on the
first step which was "Invite An Ami" and it was really fun. Haha
Sister Brown made us play a water balloon game that ended up turning
into a water balloon fight. After conference we went on an exchange
with the assistants in Lyon! I was with Elder Landry and their driver
Elder Sumter! Haha it was kind of a short exchange because once
conference got over it was pretty late...but we went out and ported a
little bit and had a really cool lesson with a woman! Then it was
already time to go home haha so it was really short. But then Saturday
morning we woke up and played soccer with them and a bunch of their
friends and then went back to Geneva! When we got back the Spanish
Sisters had a baptism so we all went to it!
Also this week guess who I saw?! Elder Battezzato!! :) The Lausanne
zone came into Geneva on Thursday night because we all had to catch a
train early the next morning so he came and stayed the night in our
apartment! Haha it was so good to see him I have missed him this last
month. We actually went and saw Serge together as well and we taught
him about following the prophet and about baptism and confirmation!
Honestly it was so good to catch up with my screggio that I've missed!
Also we went to a restaurant and someone needed help translating from
French to English and voilà I was there and we ended up getting a free
drink out of it which was nice :)
I also went on an exchange with Elder Oborn from Annemasse! He started
off in Nice and then went to Ajaccio just like me so we had a lot to
talk about! Sylvia and Noel and Marie Rose are all doing so well, so
that was good to hear :) but we went and had a few lessons and had
some good contacts on the road!
On Thursday we had zone finding day here in Geneva so the whole zone
was all here in Genève and had a good time! We split up into 2 teams
and had challenges that we had to go out and get in order to advance
to the next area. Good stuff and we saw some cool miracles!
Matthew 9: 18-26 was a story that really touched me this week. I love
how Christ was on his way to heal a "ruler" and on the way he was
stopped by a woman who had physical problems and probably not a solid
home situation and healed her. It really touched me how the ruler had
no more valor in the eyes of Christ than the poor woman. I know that
Christ lives!

Matthew 9:18-26
18 ¶While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
20 ¶And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
23 And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
